I am a 29 year old mother of 3 girls all of whom have special needs. I haven't been able to work since April 2004 because I have Lupus. My oldest daughter has Autism, Epilepsy, Brown Syndrome and severe allergies. My middle daughter was born dead due to a doctor's negligence and diagnosed with cephalahematoma, a subarachnoid hemorrhage, meconium aspiration syndrome, sepsis, jaundice, and a few other things. As a result, she had to have heart surgery, has a speech impediment, digestive problems, restrictive lung disease, and they aren't sure if she will have any cognitive problems or other issues in the future. If this all isn't bad enough, I just found out that my youngest daughter Kylie has to have the same heart surgery my middle daughter had in 2004. We have a very limited fixed income and we just can't pay all the bills and afford transporation for all of our appointments as well as other necessities.
